Urban Montessori Charter School

At Urban Montessori Charter School, we are integrating design thinking into the Lower Elementary classrooms (which combine first-, second-, and third-graders). This year, each classroom will do several design challenges. Our design process is: notice and care, work together and create, and share and reflect. We also use design thinking in meetings and do smaller exercises to build our empathy and prototyping muscles.
