University Prep is a grades 6-12 independent school in Seattle, Washington. As part of our mission to support intellectual courage, social responsibility, and global citizenship, we use design thinking both in the curriculum and in program development work. Examples include a seventh grade interdisciplinary project to redesign a dam on the Columbia River, building empathy for characters in a novel, redesigning our computer science program curriculum, and identifying work priorities in our instructional leadership team.Posted on January 30, 2015.
