Spring Hill School

Spring Hill School is an independent school located in Santa Cruz, CA. At Spring Hill, design thinking is integrated into the curriculum - across all subjects, all grades. There is a culminating event that celebrates some of the ongoing design thinking work at the annual Invention Convention, where students work with local non-profits to solve real-world problems in the local community. Students are applying design thinking to classroom projects and community projects. Design is used as a tool to help solve complex problems to create deeply meaningful, creative and relevant solutions for the community and society.
