Phillips Brooks School

We recently finished the Water Conservation at Home design thinking project created by REDLab at Stanford. The 5th graders interviewed adults around campus about their water use. They then generated ideas and prototypes to help the interviewed adults conserve water in their own homes. The next project is designing something for our kindergarten classrooms. Our fifth graders have been busy interviewing and observing the kindergartners and kindergarten teachers and classrooms to come up with a needs statement . We will then embark on the next phase of the design thinking process. Looking forward to seeing what wonderful ideas they come up with.
