OAISD futurePREP’d

The Ottawa Area Intermediate School District's (OAISD) futurePREP'd Program provides K-12 educators with training and experiences in (1) project-based learning, (2) design thinking, and (3) 21st century skills. Beyond basic training, participating educators are immersed in project-based learning and design thinking by designing a solution for a local organization/business and by leading a team of students through the development of a solution to a real-world issue at a local business or organization within one of our summer programs. Afterward, educators are supported through the process of developing project-based and design thinking curriculum for their own classrooms based upon what they learned and experienced.
