We believe that students can learn to be creative and innovative if they are provided with the tools to do so. We teach students in grades 1 to 4 the five steps to design thinking—empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test—and, working together, they use them to solve a relevant school problem. Teachers also use the iLab to complement and enhance their grade-level curriculum.
