ISB Futures Academy

ISB Futures Academy through project- based learning is designed to connect students to their passions. To this end, students will be the architects of their own learning. In collaboration with three key facilitators, they will design their learning experiences, schedules, and projects in an approach that integrates all of the core subjects. This design thinking approach allows the students and projects to drive the curriculum rather than the curriculum driving the students. Students start by generating inquiries, explore answers to those questions, and design solutions that are authentic and useful in the real world. The program will start in the Fall of 2014-2015 for 22 7th grade students.
